Merry Christmas!
We know it’s a busy season, so we’re extending the deadline for the Sunbury Christmas Cookie and Candy Contest to noon on Saturday, December 2nd.
The simple Contest Entry Form is available for printing here on formanrealtors.com or can be filled out at Forman Realtors on the Sunbury Village Square at 28 South Vernon Street from 9-5 weekdays.
Completed entries may be emailed to forman@formanrealtors.com, faxed to 740-965-3342, or simply dropped off at Forman Realtors.
Next, if you can’t attend the evening festivities but would like to enter the contest, you may drop off your baked items at Forman Realtors after 2pm on Saturday. We will set them up for judging and the silent auction when the time comes. And we’ll get your prizes to you if you win. If you need other arrangements, please email Kelly Forman at kellyf@formanrealtors.com in advance.

Prizes:
In both Adult and Junior Divisions, the following cash prizes will be awarded to winners in each category:
1st place: $100
Rules and Guidelines:
Contestants are to provide 2 dozen pieces per entry on separate serving plates: One dozen is for judging and sampling by attendees.
One dozen is for the silent auction.
Recipes must be attached to each dozen—one will go on record and one will go with the winning bidder.
All entries must be titled and credited. Credits for the recipe can go to previous generations, but the baker must also be identified.
Contestants can enter as many recipes/entries as they like.
Contestants are encouraged to decorate their plates/platters. Decorations are not to exceed two feet in diameter or two feet in height.
All serving ware and decorations entered in the silent auction will become the property of the winning bidder. Accompanying serving ware and decorations for the sample/judging dozen will be available on site for pick up until 7:30pm on December 2nd. Forman Realtors is not responsible for serving ware that is lost or stolen.
All participants in the junior division must have signed parental/guardian consent.
Entries will be photographed and recipes will be recorded both online and in a book for the BW Area Historical Society and the Sunbury Community Library. Contestants and the general public will have the opportunity to acquire each year’s book of Sunbury recipes and celebrations.

5-5:30 in place on Burrer Drive (starts at dark)
Cookie/Candy Contest
5pm: Entries in place. Silent auction starts.
6pm: Judging
7:00pm: Winners Announced
7:15pm: Auction Ends and Winning Bidders Announced
